My Life Only Needs But Two Who am I... » Tamaki Suoh is a rather dense sort of boy. He doesn’t come off as all too bright, but who needs to be super intelligent when you have money? He’s very sincere and polite; his manners are something to be looked upon and he always greets anyone he meets with a very sweet smile. His personality has been dubbed prince-like by almost all who meet him—that is, other than his friends. Though Tamaki is surely a very nice and generous individual, the fact that he has been raised in a rather … spoiled home has left him rather childish at times. He can pitch silent –or not—fits that will usually end with him having to go sit by himself for a few moments or sometimes even longer. He also is a bit ignorant when it comes to the more ‘working class’ citizens. He knows nothing of living on his own or a world without money coming from every angle when he needs it. However, perhaps the noble atmosphere that his father had provided him with caused him to develop his princely side that that the majority of his new acquaintances will see. As for cons of his personality, one might say that Tamaki is a bit too naïve in many instances as well as perhaps a tad narcissistic. Though not really a con, all of the above makes him come off as… rather flamboyant at times resulting in some suspecting otherwise of his sexual preferences.
•My Outsides » Tamaki is a boy of mixed Japanese and French descent. As such, he has short golden hair and beautiful blue-indigo eyes. He’s not too tall, around perhaps 5”9 and has quite a normal body weight for a boy around his age. His skin is fair and pale, just the way he wants it, and he rarely allows himself out of his traditional high school uniform. He’s not very muscular in the least, as he’s never had to really put himself into labor. As such, if having to put up a fight, he probably wouldn’t do quite so well. He’s a talker, not a fighter. •Once Upon a Time... » Tamaki, where left off in the series, is a 17 year old student in his second year of highschool in Ouran. He founded the Ouran High School Host Club on his own one day and recruited several other students through his rather agreeable social skills. He runs the club well, being one of the more sought out hosts of the club due to his enticing romance skills. His stereotype is the Prince, and rightfully so, as he is very sincere, noble and thoughtful without having to fake his feelings like some of the other members. His role may also be as a piece of comic relief for much of the manga, as he places himself as a father figure to his love interest, Haruhi, another member of the club. He also has a stuffed teddy bear that he lovingly dubbed “Kuma-chan.” It goes with him whenever he decides to travel somewhere for a lengthy amount of time. Tamaki convinced Haruhi, through her male appearance, to join his host club in way of helping her pay off the debt that she owed them due to her breaking a rather expensive vase on her first accidental visit. While unaware that she was, in fact, a female, the prince set her up with many other girls in hopes that his new apprentice would be an excellent new part of his Host Club. Soon after, while dressing Haruhi in a school unif orm from the member’s own pocket change, Tamaki discovered that Haruhi was actually a girl and from then on developed a sort of “fatherly complex” over her. After that event, he was a bit more protective over his apprentice; he didn’t approve of many of her interactions with boys or any other “unchildlike” acts. Though many other host members seemed to be showing signs of attraction to her, Tamaki did his best to uphold his father like viewings when really they were only disguised as such—and only in his own eyes—not in those of the other members of the club. Few large events have taken place, none worth too much noting. Tamaki has merely gone through minor adventures at the side of Haruhi, filled with educational moments with “commoners,” exciting his lady-friends and more club excursions. As of late, Tamaki is slowly beginning to realize his feelings for Haruhi though he’s still clouding his thoughts with what he believes to be his ‘ fatherly’ emotions. Meanwhile, there are still other members of the club who’d perhaps like to see him fail in this, as more than Tamaki shows feelings for her.
•What I Think I Know... » Tamaki remembers that he is now a student at a prestigious school where his father is NOT head master. Still, his family, now long since moved away to France, has left him with all the high quality furnishings that a boy of his stature would need in his situation. He lives with his quarterly staff: maids & butlers all catering to his every whim, as seems perfectly normal to him. I’d prefer that he live in a mansion (or house) to be more closely related to his previous accommodations, but if not, a condominium could suite him just as well. Perhaps he thinks he remembers that a few weeks ago, a club that he’d initially started with a few friends has been shut down, and as such, he’d been left at school with no real outlet. After that, his mind leaves him at a bit of a blank which he passes off as he’s just getting a bit older and this is what that’s like !
